Concrete Stamping

Stamping concrete is the process of pressing a pattern into concrete that is not yet fully cured.   A multi-colored or “Marbled” effect can be achieved by combining a concrete color with a highlight color that contrasts the concrete.  The highlight color is a powder that is broadcasted over the colored concrete while it is still wet.    The powder serves two purposes, to prevent the stamps from sticking to the fresh concrete, and to add a highlight.

There are numerous colors of concrete and highlights to choose from.  Picking contrasting concrete and highlight colors results in a more dramatic effect.
